I want to start by saying hello, and hope all is going good. Now I am briefly sharing my story for several reasons, but please understand that this will maybe only apply to one or two ppl...this is rare for some ppl its just cutting out stress and not worrying about it that helps them get pregnant, for others its changing their eating habits and focusing on something else.
Here is my story...
My husband(Eric) and I married in Sept 2009, no birth control was used, in November we decided to actively start trying, by June 2010 we decided to go see my gynecologist, she put me on massive amounts of BC to kick start my system (irregular periods, sometimes I would go 3 months with no period) but this did not work, I'm allergic to BC I had 3 different types when I was younger bc they thought it would regulate me, but all it did was make me sick. With the high amounts it did worse and I found myself in the ER :(
So she couldn't figure it out so she referred me on to a specialist, we saw a fertility specialist for 2 years (over 10 ultrasounds done in his office), we were ready to give up, we were told about another specialist by many, we switched and the first ultrasound he did in his office he found polyps and decided to do a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, they found unexplained scaring and old polyps, since before my surgery I was put on additional medication and strict low carb paleo diet (have been since July). I am recovering now and see my Dr. in a week to discuss further. I am currently taking Megestrol (megace) to clear me of Hyperplasia and then hopefully we will be able to do an IUI :) Please ask if you have any questions, I have been dealing with this for 4 years and though I'm not a specialist, I have done a ton of research and asked questions, and learned even more in these past years. Many women don't know about ovulation, they know it occurs, but they think they can get pregnant just having sex , but what they don't realize is that they have a window of opportunity, some windows are longer than others, but the older we are the shorter the window.....
